BAND WINS GOLD!
The Band won a gold medal at the Forum Festival in San Mateo on May 19th - this places the band in the top 10% in the United States and Canada!

SPRING CONCERT
The band's Spring Concert will be Thursday, May 31st at 6:45pm in the Fiester Auditorium, Mariposa County High School.  This will be the last performance for our senior class so it will be your last chance to see the complete band that traveled to New York City!   For more information, please call 209-966-1230, leave a message, and we will call you back!

MCHS Grizzly Band Marches Down Fifth Avenue!

CALLING ALL INSTRUMENTS!!!
The Mariposa County High School Band Boosters urges anyone who has an old instrument to donate it to the band.  One of the Band Boosters’ missions is to be able to put an instrument in the hands of each of young student who wants to learn. Studies have shown that students who are exposed to music education do better in math and science classes than students who don’t have this opportunity. Plus, the MCHS Grizzly Band will benefit from incoming students who are trained on their instrument and are ready to contribute and grow with this amazingly talented family of high school musicians.

Several Band Boosters have been volunteering time to refurbish used instruments. They can recondition an old instrument and bring it back to life in the hands of a Mariposa student.
